Language will bring to Kiev. And the wild imagination of a group of architects Jackson Clements Burrows brought them straight to Troy. Not literally, of course. They proposed an interesting architectural solution for a house in Melbourne, Australia, which was called a Trojan. We know perfectly well what the Trojan horse is hiding. But what hides the "Trojan House" - a riddle that we have to solve.
If you think that the Trojan house, just like the Trojan horse, is hiding some enemy forces inside, then I hasten to upset you - you are mistaken. On the inside, the house is the family nest of one Australian married couple with three chicks. But outwardly, this house is very original, not much like other family nests.
The idea of the Jackson Clements Burrows team of architects is by no means secret, and certainly not insidious, which was the idea of the Trojan horse. The reason that prompted the use of a non-standard architectural solution is very prosaic: the lack of space for the construction of a large house. In order to save space in the courtyard and at the same time build a house for a family of five, the architects had the idea to create such an original house, which was called the Trojan.
The facade of the house is completely finished with wood, even the windows are closed with wooden shutters, so the walls seem to be a solid wooden canvas. Hence the name. The house is also interesting for its unusual design. Half of the second floor moves forward and "hangs" over the courtyard. Thanks to this, there is enough free space in the yard, and the overhanging second floor creates a perfectly shaded area.
The ground floor of this peculiar house is also noteworthy. An impressive veranda has two exits - to a spacious courtyard and … to the pool, which was built on the saved space. As a result, the house turned out to be spacious, and the kids have a place to walk. And wooden shutters completely hide the personal life of this family from the prying eyes of eternally curious neighbors.

We understand perfectly well that the expression “the case smells like kerosene” does not actually mean an unpleasant smell, and “hat” is not always a mouthful, but not everyone knows where such “delights” come from in our language. It is all the more interesting to find out that in Ancient Greece one could take offense at the word "teacher", but quite decent citizens were called "idiots"

If you look at the history of his family, then everything that happens is more like revenge … to his father. Bloody revenge for bloody atrocity

It's hard to believe, but these realistic paintings were made not in oil or watercolors, but with ordinary ballpoint pens
“All I have is just eight colored ballpoint pens,” says self-taught Portuguese artist Samuel Silva, who creates stunningly realistic paintings that are so hard to distinguish from photographs. According to the author, he never mixes colors, but only applies several layers of ink with strokes so that the illusion of mixing and various colors is obtained, which he actually does not have
