The Walbrzych authorities officially confirmed that they recognized the place where an almost mythological composition, overflowing with jewels, which disappeared at the end of World War II, can be hidden.
The President of the Silesian city Roman Shelemei announced during a press conference that the department had received an official notification of the opening. The municipality refers to the important papers received, as well as the mention in them of the assumption that this is a train from the last world war, and that it may be a train of a military nature.
Will the train with the gold of the Third Reich become the property of the Polish state? The further procedure provides for the need to notify the relevant structures of the country. This is what the Walbrzych authorities intend to do. Also, the representative of the municipality recalled that the specified find belongs, according to the assumptions of the location, the state. He added that the treasure is located within the administrative boundaries of Walbrzych. According to unofficial information, the hidden values lie in the area of the 60th kilometer of the Wroclaw - Walbrzych route.
Now the riddle of the war can turn into a matter of a national scale. The whole story began after the visit of two men to the Walbrzych District Office. They claimed that they had found a missing train from World War II. Having previously contacted the law firm, the applicants also claimed 10 per cent of the value of the treasure. The men described the find as interlocking wagons with a total length of about 150 meters, within which jewelry was piled. If we really assume that a real artifact has been discovered, then the researchers talk about the legendary composition that disappeared after the departure from the Wroclaw platform in May 1945. It is known that the train was really intended to take out a huge amount of valuables in an unknown direction.
For security reasons, the Walbrzych authorities ask you not to undertake independent searches or excavations. Moreover, a sound search information system has been introduced. However, in the Walbrzych area, there is an increased activity of treasure hunters. A government spokesman requested that all research be stopped until the end of the formal procedure to confirm the safety assumptions. Treasure hunters interpreted such statements as a desire to attract serious resources in order to transfer the treasure to state ownership.
The general conservative of antiquity, Pyotr Zhukhovsky, assured that no one has yet managed to get close to the place where the train with the gold of the Third Reich is located. He did not rule out the possibility that the train is mined, or may contain life-threatening substances.

In 2021, November 1, it will be 75 years since the day when the trial of Nazi criminals was completed in Nuremberg, Germany. Not all of them were convicted at this tribunal. And not all Nazis were punished for their crimes. Children do not have the right to pay and endure for the sins of their fathers - this is true. But can fate or providence rule more fair judgments?
Why German girls willingly went to work in brothels and on what principle did brothels of the Third Reich work?
Two ancient professions - military and ladies of easy virtue have always gone hand in hand. In order to control an army of young and strong men for a long time, it was necessary to take care of all their physiological needs. It is not surprising that at all times violence was accepted in the occupied territories, although there was an alternative - brothels, in the creation of which the Germans especially succeeded during the Second World War

Because of what every third train driver died on one railway route: "Victory Road"
After a partial break of the blockade in January 1943, a long-awaited chance appeared to establish transport links with the city. In order to provide the population of Leningrad with food and organize the transfer of troops to strengthen the Leningrad Front, the construction of a temporary railway line began. Later, this path went down in history as the "Victory Road", but those who erected the branch under the incessant fire of the enemy called it at that time "the corridor of death"
The World of Officials and the Officials of the World in Ian Benning's Photo Project
"Culturology" has already written about such international endeavors as the documentary photo project "Where Children Sleep" and a series of photographs "Girls and Their Rooms". This time, we propose to look where you usually really do not want to go - to state institutions. Photographer Ian Benning will skip the line to take us to the offices of minor officials, whom we have all encountered more than once, and will show us what public places look like in different countries
