An exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the famous cartoon character Mickey Mouse was opened in the Russian capital. This multimedia exhibition is called Mickey Mouse. Inspiring the world. And she also remembered that the first star to appear on the Hollywood Walk of Fame belongs to this particular mouse. Mickey Mouse is a goodie who has inspired many designers, filmmakers and artists. The CEO expressed her gratitude for the support of Artplay, thanks to which it was possible to organize an event to help follow the development of the famous image in contemporary art.
The venue for the exhibition “Mickey Mouse. Inspiring the World”became one of the central halls of Artplay. By visiting this design center, you can find out how Walt Disney came up with a name for his new character, which of the animators, on his behalf, was engaged in drawing the mouse, and also find out when Minnie Mouse, Mickey's girlfriend, was invented.
The curator of the exhibition is Yasha Yavorskaya. She said that the exhibition consists of two parts. Its first part includes exhibits that are part of the collections of eminent designers who were once inspired by the cartoon mouse and the works of contemporary artists from Russia. The second part is multimedia. For its implementation, the walls of the large hall were turned into a screen where you can watch a film about Mickey Mouse.
