Kindergartens have long ceased to be just a place where a child is while parents work. Many requirements are put forward for kindergartens, but the most important of them is the harmonious and comprehensive development of the baby. Educational standards require the child to be at the center of curriculum, and kindergartens teach not only letters and numbers, but also the art of communication, thinking and research.
MDOU "Nekouz kindergarten No. 3"
In this most ordinary children's institution in the Yaroslavl region, they are not afraid of experiments, and therefore adopted the PROChildren program in working with children, based on the principles developed by Lev Vygotsky. It was he who believed that education is impossible without the participation of the child, the educator and the environment between them.
Educators, first of all, asked the children for their opinion on what the kindergarten should be like. And then, together with their parents, they began to translate children's wishes into reality. Now in the kindergarten there are special containers for storing children's personal treasures and plans (children are taught to plan here), and a wide variety of toys and didactic aids are placed in free access for children.
Teaching a child in kindergarten is based on role-playing games that help develop creativity, the ability to cooperate and express oneself. At the same time, children have the opportunity to choose a play space. The kids themselves determine what they would like to devote the day to: literacy and writing, science, art, physical education or play. It was difficult at first, but over time, children learned not only to make a choice, but also to take responsibility for it.
Wunderpark Kids Club
An unusual kindergarten was opened in the Moscow region in 2013. Its creator and ideological inspirer Marina Mordashova put the development of the child at the forefront. In her opinion, a person needs to be educated from an early age, support children's initiatives, develop a desire to learn, form a productive imagination and curiosity.
The club took two early childhood development programs at once as a basis: "Path" - Russian and The International Early Years Curriculum - British. The combination of the two programs perfectly serves the purpose of the harmonious development of the child. The classes at Wunderpark are significantly different from the standard ones. In addition to teaching writing, reading, counting, classes in football and cooking, construction and dancing, artistry and freedom of choice are held here.
The garden is equipped with everything a child needs: stunning gyms, real gardens of sounds and textures, interactive Montessori zones and even a real helicopter.
MBDOU No. 4 "Montessori"
Montessori pedagogy has become popular for a long time. In kindergarten No. 4 in the city of Tomsk, they strictly follow the principles that were once formulated by the Italian humanist Maria Montessori.
Groups of different ages are formed in the kindergarten so that kids can learn from older children. Together they choose the activity that they like, everyone has the opportunity to develop their communication skills. The teacher here is assigned the role of a kind of guide, who tells, but does not force, offers, but does not insist.
Children's club "I'm in the House"
The founder of this club in Ust-Izhora and St. Petersburg, Dasha Paute, is a supporter of the theory of free pedagogy, advocating respect for childhood and the development of a child's cognitive interests, for the value of a person's personal space even at an early age. In the "I'm in the House" club, children are given the opportunity to do what they like without forcing attention.
The environment initially becomes part of the educational process, according to Italian Reggio Pedagogy. The premises of the two branches of the children's club were built on purpose. All rooms here are spacious and very bright, and children can not only move freely throughout the building, but also find a place for solitude, if the child has such a need.
Kindergarten "Children's Village"
Once a resident of Kirov, Svetlana Biryukova, who graduated from the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, was looking for a suitable kindergarten for her second son, and then she created her own. Now there are three such gardens in Kirov, and the entire learning process in them is based on the philosophy of the founder of Walfdor pedagogy, Rudolf Steiner. However, at the same time, Detskoye Selo does not abandon other methods of child development, both foreign and domestic.
In Detskoye Selo, every child will find something to their liking, because lessons on pottery and cooking, singing and weaving are held here. And here they also teach how to create: invent fairy tales and show them, draw fictional animals and talk about them. In addition, great attention is paid to the art of communication and experiencing emotions, and each situation is considered necessarily from the point of view of the age of the baby.
The debate about what is “right” and what is “wrong” in raising children will never subside, and every time a child indulges or throws a tantrum in public, there is a person who blames the child's parents for this behavior. The followers of the so-called "Careful parenting" - a code of conduct when children are not punished or told "no".
