Photographs by Silvia Georgieva attract you, make you think, but it is not always possible to understand the author's idea right away. You need to look closely at photographs, divide them into their component parts in order to find the essence - the core. More often than not, it turns out to be bitter, making you cry, so Sylvia herself compares her work to a bow.

Sylvia was born in Bulgaria, where she lives to this day, her passion for photography came just a few years ago: the moment that changed the perception of the world around her was the birth of her daughter. “Now I see and feel every detail, photography has established my connection with the world and I want to show it to others,” says Sylvia.

People in Sylvia's works are often depicted naked and this is no coincidence: the author accepts people as they are and says that you should not be ashamed of yourself. According to Sylvia, women photographers are less embellishing of reality, therefore both the human body and the world around her in her photographs are realistic, untouched, honest and always a little sad.

Sylvia's photographs have a rare charm of simplicity: when there is nothing special in the frame, but at the same time, each picture makes you think, takes the viewer to another world. A simple vase standing on the windowsill may not immediately attract attention, but it's worth taking a closer look, when suddenly you realize that the picture shows much more than it might seem at first glance: a minimum of flowers, smooth bare walls, a simple vase and a lonely flower looking into the void outside the window … Every detail of a photograph is not just objects, but symbols of emptiness and loneliness skillfully collected by the photographer in one shot.

During her short career as a photographer, Sylvia managed to develop her own style and create several amazing photographs, precisely to create, because these works require preparation and processing, such pictures are not taken the first time. Such zeal suggests that we will see more than one photo similar to a bow.
