I create my animals from velvet plastic. It is a modern material, polymer clay that hardens in air. After hardening, it does not deform and does not change shape. No firing required, colors mix easily.
I have been modeling velvet plastic since December 2006, since this amazing material accidentally fell into my hands. I had to develop the technology myself, learn by trial and error. Now I often use wire, beads, stained glass paints, semi-precious stones, acrylic, watercolor and even colored pencils as auxiliary materials.
Most of my creations have wings - firstly, simply because I like it so much, even in children's drawings, all the animals were winged. Wings are a symbol of dreams, freedom, striving for the sky and the sun. The second reason, a technical one, is that wool and feathers are most effectively obtained from velvet plastic, recognizing a unique recognizable style. Most often, I create fantastic and fabulous animals - from childhood I come up with unprecedented animals, and also collect their images in literature, cinema, painting.
