Like physicists who are also lyricists, and athletes who write scientific works, sculptural works by a Scottish author Jessica Lloyd-Jones can be called art, science and technology at the same time. Anatomically correct internal organs of a person, made of thin glass, figures from the series Anatomical Neon can be both a sculptural composition and a model, a visual exhibit for students studying the structure of a person. Glass heart and lungs, glass brain and optic nerve - the Anatomical Neon series consists of these four sculptures, illuminated from the inside by multi-colored LEDs. The author of the project claims that with this work she conceived to focus the public's attention on the energy that lies in the human body. So, the brain processes information received by the kinetic and sensory pathways, the optic nerve is responsible for visual information, the heart is responsible for feelings and emotions, but the lungs supply blood with oxygen and allow a person to breathe in life, which is noisy, boiling and seething around.
