Project participants Duckomenta set themselves an extraordinary task. They decided to rewrite the entire history of human culture in such a way that it was created not by people, but by Disney ducks, fellow tribesmen of Donald Duck. And not just rewrite, but on a grand scale.
The Duckomenta project dates back to 1982. Today, his collection includes more than 120 exhibits created by a group of professional artists. These are not cheap styrofoam crafts or banal Photoshop prints. Given the scale of the event, the language is no longer daring to call it just a parody. The exposition of the project travels around the world and about a million viewers have already seen it.
The most famous works of art of all times and peoples, the heritage of antiquity, historical figures and much more came under the hotly ironic hand of the project participants.
The exhibition is organized in chronological order and sequentially unfolds before the viewer the entire history of the great duck civilization from primitive ducks to the present day. The ducks had their own Nefertiti, their Napoleon and their own Van Gogh. And having come to the samples of modern duck art, one can habitually doubt its artistic value.
