No matter how much they say that it is very easy to create from paper, I will never believe in life, especially after viewing these photographs. Still, working with such a thin and fragile material requires good ability.
Apparently, Jill Sylvia is a master of her craft, since she has such great creations. She claims that she made them from the so-called stationery, which is much stronger than ordinary paper. All this is due to the fact that it is made of wood with impurities of chemicals, but we will not go into the composition of the paper in detail. It is only clear that folding and cutting it is an order of magnitude harder than the most ordinary one. Be that as it may, the author of the maps does not disclose or report anything about how these works were created. And among them, for a minute, we can see the White House and the Capitol, the building where the US Congress sits. We can also notice that the Capitol is completely made "in color" - we can make out blue and red stripes on paper.
Although, is it really so important in what way and from what the artist made these works? The main thing is that this kind of art has a right to exist, all the more it is clear that the work is painstaking and probably took a lot of energy and patience.
