It cannot be said that an artist by name Ed Bing Lee from Philadelphia suffered from a lack of food, or vice versa, was a constantly chewing glutton. He just likes to create knitted food: mouth-watering cakes and pies, hot dogs and hamburgers, Coca-Cola and popcorn. Although, no, not knitted, but created with macrame. A series of inedible yet attractive foods are called Delectables. The author calls his works "macrame sculptures" and has been engaged in this work for over 25 years. He says that at first it was a curious game, but then the occupation grew into a serious hobby, and then into a profession.
Today Ed Bing Lee is able to embody any product or dish imaginable in macrame. His skill is so great that knitted goodies are ordered from him more often than their edible counterparts in cafes or shops.
Each cotton pie or sandwich has up to 250 knots per square centimeter. And the fact that they are inedible is even wonderful - extra calories for that and extra.
