Indeed, on New Year's Eve, not only the most cherished wishes come true, but there are so many delicacies around that it becomes sweet even if you just look. And by the way, there is something to see. Especially in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, where one of the largest shopping malls MUJI opened an amazing christmas installation … For this event, designers from the art studio tha ltd built a whole gingerbread town and other holiday treats. The cookie installation is truly huge. It consists of hundreds of small houses made of cookies, biscuits and waffles, which are decorated with New Year's decorations, covered with snow and covered with frost. Little people live in the houses who go about their business and prepare for the holiday: they remove snow, make snowmen, go to work and buy gifts, bake pies and make jam. Lovers walk along snow-covered paths among trees, old people relax in armchairs at the door of their home, and a holiday train rides around the town, loaded to overload with sweets. In this fabulous town of sweets, it is so calm and cozy that you want to smile, enjoying the most real Christmas mood, and look forward to the holiday.
The installation of gingerbread houses looks especially picturesque in the evening. Then the lights come on in the windows, miniature lanterns and multi-colored bulbs are lit on the streets, and the town looks truly magical and fabulous. Probably, it is at such moments that cherished desires are born in people, and the assistants of Santa Claus and Santa are in a hurry to immediately write them down and send them to the address. In order to provide as many people as possible with the Christmas mood, to give them the opportunity to admire the stunning spectacle, to see the gingerbread houses and look inside, the authors of the project are from the studio tha ltd. set up an online broadcast from the town, and the official Instagram and Twitter channel is updated with photos from the scene in real time.
You can see the Christmas installation of gingerbread cookies without leaving your favorite chair in front of the monitor. Just look at the MUJI website and join the online broadcast.
