Still, these cats are cutest creatures: fluffy, soft, walking around the owners, and the vast majority of this hairy population has an excellent ability to be constantly hungry and beg-beg-beg-beg for food. And if they are not provided with one, then they can not disdain the wire or lie down on some important business papers so that the owners will not disdain to be headstrong. How about cats smoking a pipe? Or a small but organized group moving across the sky with a sausage? Artist Anton Gortsevich really likes these cats!
Light, bright oil paintings can easily be attributed to one of the brightest examples of modern naive art (this is one of the directions of primitivism - a style of painting that originated in the 19th century and contains a deliberate simplification of the picture, making its forms primitive, like the creativity of a child or drawings of primitive times).
In addition to a series of works with cats, the artist has a series of drawings dedicated to the life of the well-known fairy-tale Miracle Yudo fish whale. Just like the furry pets, more familiar to our eyes, she plows the skies and feels great. And why should something be different? After all, peaceful peasants living on the back of the fish do not interfere at all. There is only one question left: what is she eating there in the sky?
In addition to works in the mainstream of naive art, Anton Gortsevich has quite realistic works: the author perfectly succeeds in flowers, the texture of the petals seems to be visible in the paintings, and bright (but at the same time not cutting eyes and very harmonious) saturated colors very naturally convey the look of real bouquets.
Artist Anton Gortsevich was born in Smolensk in 1974. He graduated from the painting and pedagogical department of the Tver Regional Art School named after A. G. Venetsianov. Since 2004 he has been a member of the Union of Free Artists of St. Petersburg. Permanent participant of exhibitions in the city of Tver. Anton is very fond of traveling and admits that “many of his works were written under the impression of trips to Prague, Turkey, Russia”.

Ay, yes, cats: Positive and joyful paintings by Anton Gortsevich, in which purrs enjoy life
The cats, invented by the Russian artist Anton Gortsevich, are not just ordinary pets who regularly demand a piece of sausage and scratch behind the ear, they are amazing characters with pronounced features and character. Each cat not only leads his usual way of life, enjoying the day he has lived, but also gives a sea of positive emotions to those around him, singing his cat songs or lighting a pipe. And despite the fact that they are all so different, they have one thing in common - good nature, which
