It is customary to say "blood and milk" about strong, stately, healthy people. But to the participants of shocking art projects Alexa Meade it is better to use another expression - acrylic with milk. The young artist has already become famous for turning people into "living pictures", covering them with acrylic paint as if they had just come off the canvases hanging in the art studio. And in a new project called " MILK: what will you make of me?", the participants will have to plunge into a real milk bath. Milk is instead of paper, it is a white canvas on which you can draw anything, and the result will be the most unpredictable. from scratch a completely new painting technique, rethinking the already existing and familiar. will come to the fore and significantly distort the picture on the body.

The "living picture" in this art project was the artist Sheila Vand, she had to expose her body under sponges and brushes with acrylic paint, and then repeatedly plunge into milk. Smearing, washing off the paint from the body, the milk was also painted in different colors, as the artist put it, “it was bleeding with art,” giving the art project a dramatic note and a corresponding mood. Someone will probably draw parallels with the milk with which a mother feeds her child, and put forward the assumption of a philosophical implication of the performance associated with the birth and rebirth of a person. But Alexa Mead is modestly silent on this topic.
