It is customary to say "blood and milk" about girls who are full of health and beauty, but about the mermaids who are photographed Hana Vojackova, we can safely say - "Milk from the sea" … This is the name of a series of funny pictures of girls with fish tails.
It would seem that since a mermaid means she must live in the sea. Although in folklore you can find a lot of information that these humanoid creatures live not only in water bodies, but also in forests or even in houses. So don't be surprised when you see modern mermaids photographed at a bus stop or in a cozy courtyard.
Hanna Voyachkova herself is from Prague, now lives and works in London. In order to bring this photo project to life, she had to travel a little. In addition to England, the talented photographer visited Iceland, Portugal, Germany, the Czech Republic and even the Italian island of Sicily. The heroines were ordinary girls whom she met along the way. Hannah believes that the mermaid is one of the most recognizable and popular mythological images, so she decided to experiment a little with it.
It is difficult to disagree with the fact that the image of a mermaid is in demand by modern mass culture. For example, in Florida, underwater shows of real mermaids are shown annually, and in New York, parades are held under the leadership of Neptune and his "tailed" wife. Well, these events look very impressive!
