The paintings of Aleksey Belyakov are permeated with childlike spontaneity and kindness, each of his drawings is a small world full of fun and warmth, a real world of childhood. Bright and light naive art Alexei brings us back to the world of children's fantasies and is able to cheer up anyone!
Alexey Alekseevich Belyakov was born in Russia, in the city of Lyubertsy near Moscow, on May 31, 1970. He graduated from the Moscow Art School, and then the Higher Restoration School at the Moscow Architectural Institute. Today the artist is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, he paints his paintings in oil on canvas. Since June 1999 he has been taking an active part in group exhibitions, as well as personal exhibitions of the author.
Today naive art (this is one of the directions of primitivism - a style of painting that originated in the 19th century and contains a deliberate simplification of the picture, making its forms primitive, like the work of a child or drawings of primitive times) generally flourishes. Maybe this is a counterbalance to "adult" creativity, which, alas, loves to remind people how cruel and bleak the world around them can be.
Living and kind canvases of primitivists with their bright colors and uncomplicated plots not only raise the mood, but, it seems, return to the world of childhood and dreams. A world where everything is possible, where a cat and a dog can ski or swim in a boat, where wolves ride a bike with a completely satisfied smile, where there is no hassle or worries.
We have already written about such artists as Anton Gortsevich and his cute stay-at-home cats and about the beautiful Hungarian artist Irisz Agocs, whose watercolors cannot but evoke feelings of tenderness and joy. The artist says so about naive art and my work in particular: “With these pictures I want to say to adults:” Guys, why take life so seriously? After all, you yourself are depriving yourself of joy. And, probably, Alexey Belyakov addresses his audience with the same calls.

Still, these cats are cutest creatures: fluffy, soft, walking around the owners, and the vast majority of this hairy population has an excellent ability to be constantly hungry and beg-beg-beg-beg for food. And if they are not provided with one, then they can not disdain the wire or lie down on some important business papers so that the owners will not disdain to be headstrong. How about cats smoking a pipe? Or a small but organized group moving across the sky with a stake
