The debate over whether gardeners are people of art seems to be nearing completion. Its positive decision is supported by forty green sculpturespresented these days at the exhibition of landscape gardening, which is now taking place in the Canadian city of Montreal.
Gardeners have always been able to create objects that amaze with their beauty and ideal forms. Some of these people even try from time to time to engage in real art, however, while not forgetting their profession. An example of such transformations is a landscape gardening copy of the Mona Lisa painting.
But Montreal is currently hosting the Mosaicultures Internationales Montreal 2013 exhibition, whose participants can be called sculptors in the truest sense of the word. Indeed, as the latter make their works from a single piece of stone or wood, so these authors are engaged in a similar type of creativity. The only difference is that they create artwork from live trees, pieces and grass. But this is even more difficult, and therefore people need much more qualifications and talent!
The green sculptures presented as part of Mosaicultures Internationales Montreal 2013 are striking in their beauty, scale, detail and complexity of execution. It is noticeable that they were created by real professionals, the best gardeners from all over the world.
The theme of the current exhibition of gardening art in Montreal sounds like "Land of Hope" ("Land of Hope"). It plays up the desire of people to live in a safe, beautiful, environmentally friendly world, with the hope that the future will be even more wonderful.
More than a thousand people and organizations from twenty countries participate in Mosaicultures Internationales Montreal 2013. This is the largest eco-festival not only in the province of Quebec, but throughout Canada.

Nude transformation: an unusual display of strength and plastics
People in intricate poses, frozen like sculptures: the relief of muscles, the plexus of bodies, strength, energy and a challenge to society - this and much more is embodied in a bold series of shots by controversial photographer Ben Hopper. Plant for the Planet, a green art project made from green leaves

Old men hovering over Montreal. Installation by Angie Hiesl
As soon as the snow melts and the streets get a little warmer, pensioners immediately take up benches at the entrances. Old people are bored at home, and it is hard to walk far, so they walk not far from the house in the fresh air. And so it was always, until the German artist Angie Hiesl came up with her unexpected art project called X-Fois Gens Chaise, for which old people 60-70 years old had to leave their usual places at the entrance and move to simple white chairs … suspended
