Gloomy landscapes, paint drips that resemble bruises, fuzzy lines and blurry shapes - all this is vampire Gothic art, which is created by a fragile blonde named Rosson Crow (Rosson Crow). A couple of years ago, her name did not say anything to connoisseurs of art, and some people still do not know it, but in the United States, where the artist comes from, they already love and know her, and they gladly visit exhibitions and galleries with her paintings.
In search of inspiration, the girl walks through American museums, archives and libraries, looking for illustrations and descriptions of historical places with, preferably, dark or mysterious history. Moreover, it can be either a manor or an apartment, or an event, a person or an animal.
What prompted the fragile pretty blonde to plunge into the gloomy and dark world of vampire - not otherwise called - art? A desire to break stereotypes, upbringing, hobbies, belonging to a particular subculture? Whatever one may say, I don’t want to think that these paintings reflect what is in the artist’s soul …
Rosson Crow herself does not characterize her work in any way. He just does what he likes. And he proves that if creativity comes from the soul, from the heart, then sooner or later, the hearts of other people will open up to meet him.
