The rainbow is most often remembered in connection with rain. But it can also be found where there is no high humidity. Macro photographer Grover Schrayer discovered a rainbow in candle smoke. It turned out to be not at all easy to remove the multi-colored translucent cobweb. Nevertheless, the photographer did not back down, although he had to waste a fair amount of frames. So, Grover Schreer says that he only got the top macro photograph from the 25th time.
“The hardest part was figuring out how to focus the camera correctly,” says the author of the macro photography. - The focus was now the wick, now the edge of the flame. When everything was ready, all that remained was to blow out the candle and instantly press the button, wondering what would happen. The flash illuminated the smoke, and its light was refracted in particles of wax, decomposing into all the colors of the spectrum.

Candle Sculptures by Urs Fischer
In general, sculptures are made of some kind of strong material so that they serve for the benefit of art for years, decades, centuries. But, at the same time, many sculptors understand that everything flows, everything changes.
