"Sexy is what is hidden," says designer Larisa Vladimirova, who founded the new Russian brand Lesel in 2009. And consistently implements the aesthetic principles of minimalism in small collections of very feminine clothing.
Under the Lesel brand, Larisa makes fun and comfortable things for modern urban life, inspired by Japanese and Belgian designers. Dresses, cardigans, kimonos and trousers from the summer collection are made in light shades of gray, gray-beige, milky white and black. There is no decor as such; the designer's favorite technique is flowing asymmetrical draperies.
Lesel gives the impression of a correct and harmonious brand. Laconic, these clothes are without fuss and flirting. Expressiveness is achieved by a skillful cut, in which an experienced hand is felt: Larisa Vladimirova has worked as a chief artist for well-known Russian clothing manufacturers for more than ten years and knows how to show the full potential of the fabric. The basis of Lesel collections is knitwear, a capricious material that requires skillful handling. But in response, he gratefully hugs the figure, caressing the skin with a gentle touch of silk jersey, outlining the exciting curves of the body. After all, the main thing when creating clothes is not an abstract idea, but the woman who wears it.
