Anything that doesn't kill us makes us stronger. 2011 was a turning point in my life, a year of unpleasant discoveries and disappointments. I took a fresh look at this world and the people living in it. My emotions found a way out in the art project "Read Art" I created. In principle, it was thanks to the experience that "Read Art" was born.
Once, having received another dose of injustice, I came home in a very bad mood. Taking the Bible in my hands, I read: “I will repay vengeance.” I wanted to imprint these words forever, as a reminder of the evil that is happening in the world. There was a canvas and paints at hand. I drew this thought as I saw and understood. After some time, I realized that this is a new step in my work. Read Art is a painting that can be read. You can say this is my conversation with the viewer with the help of paints.
This is not an illustration to the text or a design move. This is an attempt to draw thoughts to understand … Probably the most important thing is to be understood.
Basically, the language can be anything. Why did I choose English? Firstly, because I am studying it and it is a very interesting process. Secondly, precisely because the language is not my native language, I perceive it more as a pattern, a kind of technique in painting, rather than as words.
Read Art is an opportunity to draw with a word and write with a thought.

Contemporary art from Konstantin Zolotarev. Contemporary Christian art or icon painting style
The icon painting style created for the depiction of saints and Christ is aimed at displaying a different reality. Therefore, in the icon, the portrait resemblance of a saint to a person who actually lived once is not in principle, since it reflects a transformed person who is in the upper world. But after all, the saints once lived on earth, they were like us, they ate and drank and had practically the same problems as modern man
