Damien Gilley is an American artist from Portland who explores the nature of art and conquers space through unusual installations that combine both sculptural elements and drawings. “I am interested in exploring the space with the architecture and graphics available to my understanding. I am not very good at architectural design, but I am confident that my unconventional approach to the use of space may be interesting. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional drawings on the walls can visually expand the room, calling into question the presence of walls and other boundaries familiar to our eyes,”explains the artist.
