Environmentalists acknowledge that the signing of the Wildlife Conservation Act was a major development because it really contributed to its conservation. Today, 758 protected areas are under protection, with a total area of 109 million acres, it includes 44 states in the United States and Puerto Rico.
The exhibition at the Smithsonian Museum will be open until next summer, and every month a jury selects the best pictures based on the results of an open vote on the Internet.
