Evgeny Smirnov is a dancer whom many learned about from his performance in "Minute of Glory" after he lost his leg in a car accident. Even before taking part in the show, he was thinking about opening a dance school for children with disabilities, and criticism of his work from judges and support from society helped him to make his dream come true.

Vladimir Pozdner and Renata Litvinov spoke negatively about the dancer, their words were quite offensive. The audience reacted negatively to such statements and called on Smirnov to stay in the show, which he did not. He decided to use all the noise around his personality for the benefit of making his dreams come true.

So far, Smirnov has opened only one school in Krasnodar, where 32 children with disabilities are already studying. But he is not going to stop there. During his trip to Russian cities with master classes, he realized that special children are not less interested in dancing than ordinary children and they are morally ready for such classes, and therefore he plans to continue opening such dance schools in other cities.

Anyone can come to such a school, the main condition is that there are no contraindications for dancing from the attending physician. The set is not limited only to children with disabilities. Smirnov believes that it is much faster for disabled children to adapt and tune in to getting results when they have to study with ordinary children. Parents are more demanding of their children and can criticize them for their actions, and therefore they are not allowed to dance classes. Children in a dance school communicate exclusively with their peers.

Isabel Rumyantseva, who is Smirnov's producer, said that it is planned to open several more branches of such schools throughout the Russian Federation. In these schools, in addition to dancing, other abilities of children with disabilities will also be developed - they will be taught vocals and other disciplines that contribute to their rehabilitation and development. It turns out that children in such schools will develop not only physically, but also creatively.
