A unique collection of anthropological portraits of the inhabitants of the Pechersk Territory appeared in 1868 thanks to the researcher K. Tchaikovsky. Thanks to these photographs, you can get an idea of what the people of the Perm Territory looked like about 150-200 years ago.
The Perm Territory is also the birthplace of a unique artistic style with more than a thousand years of history, which unites various items of bronze metal-plastic: shamanic ritual plaques, masks, idols, etc. The works of the Perm animal style are attributed to the early medieval civilization of the Urals during the 6th-12th centuries A.
