You don't have to reinvent the wheel to become a serious artist who is appreciated all over the world. So the artist from Thailand, Pomme Chan, just took multi-colored markers, began to draw with them and create such interesting conceptual works that such giants as Microsoft, MTV and many others drew attention to her.
Pomme Chan is an artist from Bangkok. Graduated from the University of Design, started working as a graphic designer. In 2002 she moved to the UK where she continued to study graphic design, drenching her creative nature with the knowledge she gained at the London College of Communication.
She draws mainly with felt-tipped markers, her own unique technique, drawing images from everyday life. The art of drawing with felt-tip pens and markers in itself is very common - from our children's drawings on notebook sheets to, for example, drawings with a felt-tip pen by the artist Antoinette Fleur. However, what really distinguishes Pomme Chan is the interest in her cool drawings of the world's largest companies in various fields and fields.
Among the great variety of drawings with the Pomme marker, conceptual works that are mixed with themes of architecture and women are especially interesting. But it's better to see them for yourself - most are available on her website.
Over the past years, Pomme Chan has been remarkably lucky with its customers. Her drawings have appealed to brands such as Sony, MTV, Microsoft, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Nike, and more. The artist's success is backed up by good press reviews. “Every illustration done with such diligence with such an unusual drawing technique simply explodes with a number of subtle details. This attention to the smallest details proves how serious an artist Pomme Chan has become and how developed she has a sense of three dimensions,”writes Grafik Magazine.
By the way, here's what these mysterious felt-tipped markers look like.
