Only when he met her, he learned what true love is. Emanuel Vitorgan and Alla Balter were often called the most beautiful theatrical couple in the Soviet Union. But they had to pay a terrible price for their love and happiness.
West Side Story
Emmanuel first saw the beautiful and incredibly talented young actress in the play "The Three Musketeers" as Milady. He was fascinated by her. Not by her play, not by her beauty, but by the integrity of her nature. “She was incredibly beautiful, plastic, remarkably built and sang amazingly, - it's amazing that I have not seen her before, although I have been to the performances of her theater quite often,” Vitogran later recalled.
And then they played lovers in George Tovstonogov's musical "West Side Story". This determined the course of their entire future life. They rehearsed together for a long time, enthusiastically playing love. And the moment came when it became clear to both of them that they were not playing love. They love.
By this time, Vitorgan had been married to Tamara Rumyantseva for a long time, he believed that he and his wife had an almost ideal family. They did not quarrel, together they raised little Xenia. Everything changed with the appearance in the theater of Allochka, at the appearance of which Emmanuel simply stopped breathing.
Ironically, the actress's husband's name was also Emmanuel, it was the goalkeeper of the football club "Tavria" Anbrokh. But Vitorgan completely captured her heart. Love lived on stage and behind the scenes. Emmanuel Vitorgan had no doubt - this is that very real feeling. When it is impossible to breathe without a loved one. He could not look at his beloved, could not live without seeing her.
Happiness built on unhappiness
Alla and Emmanuel destroyed previous marriages in order to create their own family. They both always worried that Vitorgan's daughter was left without daddy's worries. Ksenia never forgave her father for this betrayal. But what was to be done with those feelings that prevented them from living in separation? Even human condemnation touched them little. They saw, felt, heard only each other and their hearts.
They lived together for four years before becoming husband and wife. They moved to Moscow and began to work first at the Stanislavsky Theater, and then at the Mayakovsky Theater. Then Maxim was born to Emmanuel and Alla, and only after that they signed. The wedding was very quiet, of the guests only Natasha Varley and Vasily Bochkarev, who witnessed their marriage.
Love is the beginning of all beginnings
Alla and Emmanuel were happy. They both understood that a family is a constant work. Willy-nilly, each of them had to make some compromises in order to achieve complete harmony in the family. For a very long time they lived in a dormitory, in a tiny room, partitioned off by wardrobes. Behind this impromptu partition was the son's bed. When Vitorgan turned 40, his patience ran out, and he demanded housing for himself and his family. They were finally given a separate apartment. Now Emma's beloved could soak up the bathroom. And he himself was glad that he was able to achieve such a small, but such an important victory for the family.
They say that in a couple, one always loves, and the other allows himself to be loved. But in the family of Alla and Emmanuel, this law did not work. They both loved. This is probably why Emma never considered it shameful to cook borscht or wash the dishes. He knew for sure that his beautiful wife was worthy to play on the stage of royalty, and not peasant women with worn-out hands. And he also knew how to make gifts that would be remembered for a lifetime. Once in Varna, Vitorgan saw a yacht under scarlet sails, made an agreement at a local yacht club and arranged a boat trip for her on Alla's birthday.
Alla, for her part, always supported her husband. When it was especially hard for him because of the lack of demand, she consoled him and predicted great popularity and many fans in the future. Her prophecies came true pretty quickly. She was jealous of his countless fans, but she considered it wrong to arrange scenes because of this. She was very wise, his beloved Allochka.
Victory and defeat
When Vitorgan was diagnosed with lung cancer, Balter made every effort to defeat his disease. She took him to the best doctors, always accompanied him to complex procedures. Every day she entered his ward with a smile, firmly convinced that he must live. And she was able to defeat this terrible illness of her husband. Alla begged, begged for his life. She breathed life into him, snatching death from its clawed paws.
A few years later, she herself fell ill, she was diagnosed with spinal cancer. Alla tried not to show her weakness and weakness to anyone. She put on a tight corset and went to the theater for the performance, overcoming incredible pain and weakness. When she stepped onto the stage for the last time, colleagues actually carried her around the stage in their arms, she was so weak.
Then there were hospitals, fundraising for the operation. Her beloved Emmanuel did everything to save his wife. But the disease was too terrible. When on July 13, 2000, Vitorgan received a call and was told that it was about the last minutes of her life, he immediately rushed to the hospital. They spent the whole day talking and remembering. And at night Allochka left. On the grave of Alla Balter there is only the date of her death. She wanted to remain in the memory of people young and cheerful.
The actor was very upset by the death of his wife. He could not understand why she left him. He looked for her face in the crowd, waited for a meeting with her in a dream. But she did not come to him in dreams.
Next to him for 15 years is another woman, Irina Mlodik, who pulled him out of depression and gave him the strength to live on. But even now, many years after the death of Allochka, he does not hold back tears, remembering his beloved.
Emmanuel Vitorgan found the strength to live on after the death of his beloved, carefully keeping the light of love left by her. Konstantin Khabensky will always remember his wife, who sacrificed her life for the birth of their son.

Some of the celebrities cannot live a day without makeup and, and who can calmly do without a make-up
Every celebrity has their own distinctive, recognizable style. Some give preference to pretentious images, while others, on the contrary, try not to stand out from the crowd, becoming almost gray mice behind the scenes, who are trying once again not to catch the eye of the paparazzi. But one way or another, they all have their own reasons for being who they are.
