While it dawned on Vitaly Solomin that he had forgotten to bring his daughter and was turning back to school, the first lesson had been going on for a long time.

But do not think that the actor was always soft and gentle. On the contrary, in the family he was an indisputable authority; it was absolutely impossible to argue with him and try to avoid the inevitable punishment for the offense. When he, and not his mother, was summoned to school because of his daughter's behavior in the English lesson, Vitaly Solomin, after talking with the teacher, did not speak to his daughter for several days. She did not ask for forgiveness, she waited until the boycott was over. He could not be angry for a long time, but he was quite capable of screaming in the heat of the moment.

But Lisa, like her older sister Nastya, did not take offense at her dad. They knew that he would soon leave and everything would be the same. Moreover, it was not this that I remembered for my whole life, but long evening walks with the spaniel Roma from the house on Nikitskaya to the Patriarch's Ponds, talking about everything in the world, ice skating and joint trips to the dacha or to the sanatorium of the Maly Theater in Ruza.

Vitaly Methodievich always found something to praise his daughter for. When she was complex because of her small stature, he noticed: petite women are admirable. And then Lisa suddenly stretched herself out, and her father did not forget to mention that the youngest daughter has a model appearance. True, in relation to the eldest daughter Nastya, the parents were much stricter than to Lisa. She could not be allowed to teen parties, and Elizabeth was already calmly going to visit her friends. Returning after midnight, she always found her father in the kitchen with a book. Mom was asleep, and dad waited for the moment when the daughter would cross the threshold of the apartment, and only then went to bed.

Filling the void

The death of Vitaly Solomin in 2002 was a shock for the whole family. On April 24, during the play "Krechinsky's Wedding" right on the stage, the actor suffered a stroke, after which he could not recover. On May 27, he was gone.

Elizabeth was afraid to wake up in the morning, because each morning began with the thought that dad was no longer there. She didn’t want to put up with it, and the subconscious even refused to believe in what was happening. And Lisa again and again dialed her father's mobile phone number to tell her: she is delayed at the institute or somewhere else …

She put on his jacket and breathed in the smell of her father that remained on her, read the note affixed above the bed that dad had gone for a walk with the dog and would be back soon. At first, my mother cried without ceasing, but found the strength to communicate with loved ones. Friends began to help her cope with the misfortune. She served as an assistant director on Nikita Mikhalkov's films "12" and "Burnt by the Sun-2", in the film by Sergei Solovyov "Anna Karenina".
