If you are hungry, I do not advise you to get acquainted with the work of the Spanish artist and designer Enoc Armengol. His new art project "Panpaati" or "Edible Design" cannot but make you smile. After all, his works are made of bread.
The main plus is that all furniture is made from 100% natural ingredients, which is of course good for health, and the main disadvantage is that it is short-lived. By the way, the manufacture of such furniture takes very little time.
Armengol installations are nothing more than a designer's reaction to the structure of modern society and its values.
What prompted him to create the objects that we use in everyday life from bread? Enoc Armengol says: “Bread is our direct connection with nature. I have always been interested in the work of Leonardo da Vinci and Dalí, and the easiest way to emulate them is through the use of food. After all, these geniuses, taking an example from young children, tried to reflect their ideas in simple, everyday things."
Armengol draws inspiration from the bosom of nature. In his work, he experiments and tries not only to show, but also to interpret the predicted future in a new light.
Armengol is proud to be mentored by leading designers such as Campana Brothers, Kaspar Salto and Aldo Cibic, that despite his age, he has already collaborated with many renowned design studios in Barcelona, Milan and New York. He is often invited to take part in design exhibitions, and Armengol often receives awards. In November 2009 he received the ADI Medal, an award given to the best industrial design project among contemporary Spanish designers.
