Fires are scary, very scary. When it comes to the fact that the whole city burns out, we call this a tragedy, and they are not joking about such things. But the designers are not trying to joke, it's just that their projects do not always have any subtext.
We periodically talk about a variety of fireplacesHowever, it is not often that designers spoil us with their new inventions. This same fireplace, or rather, both of them, we cannot ignore. Both fireplaces look very unconventional, but the point is that this is not just a damper that blocks the fire from letting into the room. Yes, it is made of a thin sheet of steel cut with a laser, but this cannot be called an ordinary fireplace. The sheets are carved in the form of symbols of London and Rome - we can see the Tower and Big Ben, St. Peter's Basilica and the Colosseum. The project got a very long and florid name - 1666 and DCCCXVII A. U. C., which means the dates of fires in the above cities - 1666 and 64 AD. respectively.
However, no matter how beautiful and accurate the images are, as soon as we light the fireplace, the spectacle becomes truly terrifying - two great beautiful cities are on fire. And even though we know that this is not real, such a turn of events can plunge into a slight shock. People who take everything to heart, perhaps, should not even think about this type of fireplaces, but the designers have much to strive for. Capitals and simple cities in the world - the sea, which means that you can create a whole collection of "burning" cities. And first, it's worth checking whether these ideas will be popular, because, as we said, they are quite specific.
