Every aspiring photographer dreams of photographing the sunset, sunrise, moon and dewdrops on the grass. Having fulfilled your plan to the maximum, having gained experience and skill, the tasks become more difficult and more creative. And in the end, the photographer wants to be able not only to stop a moment, but also to freeze it in the most interesting place. This is a hobby for a German photographer Heinz Maierwho knows how to handle a camera in such a way that it magically turns drops of liquid into incredible sculptures. So, in Heinz Mayer's photographs we see multi-colored mushrooms, as if from a magical forest, there are also jellyfish and amoebas, ciliates in skirts and hares in crowns, crowns separate from hares and something completely unimaginable in addition. And all this glitters and shimmers in the photo, as if cast from ice or made of glass. I would like to reach out and touch these incredible, outlandish creations of human hands.

However, it will not be so easy to repeat the feat of Heinz Meyer. To create his liquid sculptures, the author uses a special design, something like a home-made hydraulic device that drops droplets of tinted water, ink or gel into water or other liquid, and the photographer's only task is to catch the very moment when the two liquids meet. Well, the appearance of a liquid sculpture depends solely on a lucky chance.
