Crane operator Tamara Pastukhova performed a heroic act while extinguishing a fire that occurred at the construction site of an automobile bridge in St. Petersburg. The woman risked her life to save the workers who were cut off from the exit from the scaffolding by the fire.
The fire started unexpectedly at an altitude of over 100 meters. The fire literally in a few minutes cut off the builders' exit from the tower under construction. Tamara Pastukhova, a construction crane driver, heard the cries of the workers and hurried to help them with the crane.
The builders helped the woman to fix the basket on the boom, into which the people climbed. The crane operator managed to safely deliver the workers from the blazing elements to safety. Rescuers who arrived at the scene helped the crane operator to safely descend to the ground.
At the moment, the fire at the construction site has been extinguished, there are no casualties.
