"Advertising is the engine of trade" - even a schoolchild knows this. But British students Ross Harper and Ed Moyes know that creative advertising is doubly effective! The guys are the authors Buy My Face conceptwhich literally means "Buy my face". Resourceful "businessmen" decided to lease their faces to advertisers: company logos are applied with paint, which allows the guys to attract more and more new customers every day. They want to spend the proceeds to pay off their debts for their studies: so far they have managed to raise 47,000, while the debt is $ 80,000.
The effectiveness of such "front" advertising is quite high: Ross and Ed not only attract the attention of passers-by on the street, but also post information about their advertising campaigns on the site. The guys are happy to fool around on video, and for a fee, they are even ready to jump with a parachute and dive into the icy water! Every day, they post a photo report with the name of the advertiser on the Internet.
Of course, success did not come to the guys right away. They worked their first day at just one pound. Gradually their "business" became more and more popular, today their salary is about 400 pounds. Many marketers appreciate the creativity of British students.
Ross Harper is well aware that this project is short-lived, young people are planning to "wind up" it in September, having earned the necessary amount by that time! Then the adventurous guys want to do more serious business. In the meantime, everyone can "rent" the faces of nice guys for an original birthday greetings or even a declaration of love. The only day the guys do not take orders for is Christmas, as on this day they want to hold a charity holiday event!
Placing advertisements on faces is by no means the only way to make money. Another amazing "street" profession is working as a living statue! A real Mecca for those who want to test themselves for endurance or, on the contrary, admire the frozen people-sculptures, is La Rambla street in the Spanish city of Barcelona!
