Looking at the paintings of the Korean author Bill Carman (Bill Carman), it is easy to guess that he is quite an interesting and diverse person, knows how to think outside the box and, of course, draw. And it may very well be that this artist has a good collection of steampunk things. Otherwise, why would he draw his non-standard characters in such an uncharacteristic style for painting?
So we all believe that if an artist paints surrealism, it means that he is not all right with his head. It is quite possible that in some cases this theory is justified. But a different theory should be applied to Bill Karman: he has a rather unusual sense of humor. I guess that's the whole point.
What does a sense of humor have to do with it, you ask? Well, you just have to read the autobiography of the artist, and everything will immediately become clear. As the author frankly admits to readers that he was born on the floor of a Seoul home, and that his head is in the shape of a banana from birth, that his mother is a Korean smuggler, and his father is a secret agent of the government.
This Bill Carman is quite an extraordinary personality, it's hard to argue with that. But despite all this, his canvases do not at all carry any anger or depression. Only a little sadness … Well, it doesn't happen to anyone. And here is the personal blog of Bill Carman. Maybe someone will be interested in it.

Why the Spanish artist was called the "Pope of Surrealism" and almost forgotten at home: Maruj Maglio
"Surrealism is me!" - said Salvador Dali. And, in general, he strongly (and deliberately) exaggerated. The history of Spanish surrealist painting has retained another name, not so loud - Maruja Maglio. “Half angel, half seafood”, “artist of fourteen souls”, revolutionary sorceress in algae mantle, she paved the way into the world of professional painting for many ambitious Spanish women
Window to the 17th century. Imitation of old painting in photographs by Bill Gekas (Bill Gekas)
I suppose there are no parents who would not spend kilometers of film and gigabytes of computer memory on their adored child, saving every month of his life in photo and video albums. Australian photographer Bill Gekas, father of a five-year-old baby, is from the same parent category. It was only as a photographer that he reacted very creatively to this parental responsibility, because the photographs of his daughter look like old paintings from the times of Rembrandt, Vermeer, Velazquez, Caravaggio
Bill Gates shared his thoughts on "The Real Bill Gates", and this message echoed in the hearts of hundreds of thousands of people
Wealthy people are called celestials, imagining that their life is completely different from the life of ordinary people with moderate income. On the one hand, there is a grain of truth in this - the "celestials" are not constrained by financial issues, and their aspirations are limited only by their own ambitions. However, the private life of even the wealthiest people consists of exactly the same joys and sorrows as everyone else. Recently Bill Gates, who for many years was considered the richest man on the planet, published
Surrealism and depth: interesting works by a talented self-taught artist from Denmark
Among contemporary artists, you can more and more often find masters who do not have a specialized education. Due to various circumstances, these people could not immediately connect their lives with creativity, but came to this later. Many of them even managed to realize themselves in another profession. So it happened with the talented Dane John Reuss, the author of stunning, several gloomy surreal canvases
