Vegetables can be grown, delicious dishes can be prepared from vegetables, vegetables can be eaten, vegetables can be used as a kind of model and still lifes can be drawn from them, but it turns out that they can be used as the material itself to create amazing paintings. Vegetable art master, Chinese artist Ju Duoqi, uses vegetables as his models to recreate masterpieces of famous artists such as Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Leonardo Da Vinci, Andy Warhol, Marc Chagall and others.
Blending tofu, cabbage, ginger, lotus root, coriander, sweet potato every day and adding the finishing touch as a digital processing, Ju Duoqi presents a series of vegetable compositions.
The idea to create paintings from vegetables came to Ju Duoqi in the summer of 2006. “I bought a few kilos of peas and sat there for two days peeling it all before tying the pods into a skirt, a top, a hat and a magic wand. I took a picture of myself and named the painting "The magnificent procession of the beauty of the peas." It was my first work of vegetable art,”says Ju Duoqi, recalling his first vegetable composition.
From that moment on, working with vegetables became more and more interesting for her and grew into a hobby. Different types, shapes, colors of vegetables and a little bit of transformations - all this is the richest source for recreation of the image. Fresh, dried, rotten, pickled, boiled, fried - all vegetables come to life in her paintings, playing their assigned roles.

Dialogue between the artist and nature. Vegetable street art by Pablo S. Herrero
At home, as well as in a number of foreign countries, the Spanish artist Pablo S. Herrero is known for his "vegetal" graffiti, unusual street art on the walls of abandoned buildings. Talking about his work, he claims that he seeks to revive and restore the dialogue between man and nature, which, with varying degrees of success, has been going on for many centuries in a row. And all those trees and branches that adorn the dilapidated brick walls are nothing more than an imitation of nature, which
