Photographs of babies tend to be overwhelming, but April Maciborka and David Wile, the creators of the Puckler project, have proven that kids look even cuter when they taste lemon … for the first time in their lives.
Canadian photographers April and David created a series of studio photos of adorable toddlers tasting lemon for the first time. Children's reaction to sour taste is inimitable - their spontaneity is truly touching.
“You can have a good time - just let your child taste lemon for the first time,” - say the authors of the project. Notably, the children's reactions ranged from overt curiosity to resentment. And from the facial expressions of some kids, one could conclude that lemons are very much to their taste!
Photographer David Wyle, one of the authors of the project, is mainly engaged in landscape photography. His ability to display color palette has been noticed and appreciated: David works with many advertising agencies and shoots for such large companies as Unitron and RIM.
For April Meisiborki, David's colleague and co-creator of the Puckler project, photography is a real passion. She photographs a lot, mainly the world around and people. Her work periodically appears in various thematic publications, such as: American Photo, Photolife, National Geographic, Digital Photographer and many others.
The joint work brought extremely positive emotions to the photographers. Of course, working with children is not easy, but the result is undeniably worth the effort.
