Flowers and children - this is the theme that the artist has been using in her work for more than a dozen years, giving the sincerity of children's smiles and the beauty of flowers to her viewer. Which, however, is very symbolic - both bring harmony, purity and tremendous positive emotions to the world.

The wonderful time of childhood, of course, leaves a lot of warm memories in the soul of almost every adult. Therefore, we perceive the artist's paintings with an aching feeling of nostalgia and spiritual trepidation. After all, only in childhood everything was simple and understandable, we truly appreciated friendship, treasured the long-awaited gift, completely trusted the world around us. Elena Salnikova, as if the sorceress managed to stop in time for each of us those wonderful moments of life and made us feel once again the bright and sincere world of the child in her series of amazing paintings.

The touching children's images in Elena's portraits are almost always part of genre paintings, with a simple plot. A few words about the artist

Artist Elena Salnikova was born in 1970 in the city of Voronezh. From the age of eight, a talented girl began to attend an art studio. Graduated with honors from the Voronezh Children's Art School, and then graduated from the graphic arts faculty of the Lipetsk State Pedagogical Institute in the city of Lipetsk, having defended her diploma in lacquer miniature with honors. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia.

Since 1995 she began to exhibit her paintings at art exhibitions in Voronezh. After her first solo exhibition, she received an invitation to work on the painting of the Temple of Seraphim of Sarov. From 1995 to 2000 she supervised a team of artists working on painting.

Since 2004, Elena Salnikova has been working at the Orekhovo-Zuevsky branch of the Union of Artists of Russia. Her husband, the famous artist Vladimir Gusev, undoubtedly had a huge influence on Elena's work.
