Asia has always been something both frightening and captivating to us. We are drawn to a culture that is so different from ours, but this is what at the same time instills fear in us. A young photographer from Myanmar, Min Htike Aung, in his incredibly beautiful shows how eastern countries are at the same time simple and beautiful, and proves that you should definitely go there.
Eastern civilizations, the oldest in the world, seem to keep some kind of secret, traces of which can be caught in the way of life of people, and in cultural monuments, and in landscapes. And no one understands this or that part of the world better than its inhabitant.
Min Htike Aung is a Myanmar-based photographer born in 1987. The creative path of the guy has just begun, and little is known about him. He started his career as a photographer at the age of 15. Since then, his business has been going uphill. He joined the local community of photographers and received a number of international awards. The greatest interest for him, of course, is represented by the photos of the outside world, those countries of the East, through which he travels.
There is something in these landscapes and portraits that sharply distinguishes these works from other similar ones. This is probably due precisely to the mystery of the culture that grew up on the territory of the most ancient civilizations of the world, and to the fact that people are unusual and at the same time simple in these places.
Looking at the sun shimmering in the waters of eastern lakes, at eastern girls in the field, at a sweet couple in love, at a wonderful Asian girl, I want to give up everything as soon as possible, urgently make a passport (if it has not yet been made) and quickly plunge into this amazing beauty.
