Sometimes it seems that in modern art there is absolutely no room left for the sweet, kind, naive. Therefore, the works of the young Hungarian artist Irisz Agocs seem like a breath of fresh air. Her watercolor drawings can not fail to evoke feelings of emotion, joy, cheer up no worse than the funniest comedy and remind us of carefree, fun days.
Irisz Agocs has been painting with watercolors since 2005, before that she worked with flash applications on a computer. As a child, she drew everywhere - in school notebooks, on the blackboard, on textbooks. She considers curiosity to be the main stimulating factor for creativity. Her children's drawings have been published in magazines, and she herself has a collection of books for children. Likes to visit blogs to find something new and interesting in art.
With her naive art, Irisz Agocs strives to show that growing up is not necessary to lose that feeling of carefree joy that overwhelmed us in childhood. | "I hou say to adults:" Guys, why take life so seriously? After all, you yourself are depriving yourself of joy.”And I say to the children:“I love you all! I am your friend!”, - says the artist.
“I like drawing children's drawings. In general, I love the way children think, their ability to fantasize. For example, a child may easily think that a fairy lives under his bed or that fabulous creatures are stealing his socks, and believe in it. I try to reflect this worldview in my work. I love that I can make people smile.”
Irisz Agocs advises other artists to eat more chocolate, go to exhibitions, travel and paint as often as possible. The Irisz Agocs website is still in development, but she thinks it is much easier for artists to blog, which I highly recommend visiting.
