The popular edition of The Guardian interviewed the well-known American writer Chuck Palahniuk, author of the book "Fight Club", who decided to follow the fashion of recent years and started creating the so-called "coloring pages for adults." At the same time, the publishing house Dark Horse hastened to note that, despite the application, Palahniuk's new work is intended for people who are not faint of heart and, moreover, is (as always) very provocative.
The new book will be a collection of stories with many black and white illustrations, which, as you might guess, will need to be painted on their own. The collection will appear on store shelves in October 2016. Several well-known and highly respected artists are working on the pictures in the book at once, specializing mostly in the creation of comics. These include Duncan Fegredo, the creator of Hellboy, and Lee Bermejo, who did the illustrations for The Guardians. There will be about 50 paintings in the book.
Commenting on his new book, Chuck Palahniuk himself said that not so long ago he wanted to create something fundamentally new. The author also added that he wanted to write a book that could be put on the shelf after reading for future generations, leaving something of his own in this book.
