Moreover, the LEGO company itself became Warren Elsmore's companion in the implementation of this large-scale project, which provided him with materials, assistants, and premises for work in the head office in Copenhagen.
As a result of this collective creative process, the complex of the main sports facilities of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, assembled from the constructor, appeared.
Here you can see the Olympic Stadium itself - the main arena of the competition, where the opening ceremony of the Olympics was held and the closing ceremony will take place in a few days, and the Aquatic Center pool, and a cycle track, and a basketball arena, and a tennis court, and many other facilities.
If you look closely, you can even see several thousand LEGO-men sitting in the stands of stadiums or walking along the streets of the Olympic Complex.
In this large-scale work of Warren Elsmore, there is also the transport on which the competitors and spectators get to the Olympic Village - trams, private cars and even the famous London double-decker buses - doubledeckers.
In total, it took Warren Elsmore and his team 250,000 LEGO bricks and three weeks of daily work to create this work.
