Nature is incomparable, no matter how the artist depicts it: in the form of a landscape painted in oil, or as a light installation or sculpture, or photographs of amazing corners of our planet. The only important thing is that we can admire these masterpieces without getting tired of admiring how multifaceted and magnificent our world is with you. Today's series of photographs from National Geographic per March 19-25.

In the very center of Seoul, the Cheonggyecheon Stream, which is considered a local landmark, flows. The fact is that in the 1970s a road was built on the site of the stream, and the area along the road began to be actively built up with high-rise buildings for the growing city. But in 2005, as a result of the implementation of a special program to restore the stream, Cheonggyecheonong was successfully restored. Locals love to walk along its banks, and tourists will definitely throw a coin at it to return. Therefore, unofficially, Cheonggyecheon is called the "money stream".

Quiver trees, which are a species of aloe, are often found in the Namib Desert. Under the endless starry sky, these plants seem to be stretched out on a string of sentries, providing peace and quiet in this area. The flowers of this desert plant provide food - nectar - for the local birds and insects.

Rarely visited, Saudi Arabia's coral reefs in the northern Red Sea are some of the quietest resort attractions in the region. Sunlight penetrates deep into the clear water, allowing the lush coral gardens to bloom, literally, and smell to the delight of tourists.

Chogori, the mountain peak of the Karakorum massif located west of the Himalayas in Pakistan, is known as the summit of K2 or "Killer Mountain". Its height above sea level is 8611 m, and it is the second highest eight-thousander in the world. In terms of danger, the mountain ranks second among the eight-thousanders after Annapurna: the mortality rate is 25%. Until December 15, 2005, 249 people visited the summit, 60 died while trying to climb. The picture shows the full moon peacefully illuminating the northern wall of this most dangerous peak …

Chickens of pink flamingos, up to a certain age, look very funny and pathetic, with disheveled down on the body, which has not yet acquired an amazing pink hue. When the chicks reach the age of several weeks, the parents leave them in a kind of kindergarten, and they themselves go in search of food. To feed their little ones, parents take turns returning home day and night. But alas, despite the fact that older birds are closely monitored for children, they are still very vulnerable to predators.

Among the summer tourist lures of the cowboy state of Montana is the traditional rodeo, the fun is fierce and sentimental. Why cruel - no need to explain. The sentimentality of rodeo is that rodeo supporters see it as a feast of cowboy prowess, as well as a reminder that old skills are still valued amid the general mechanization of ranches and farming.
