For some people, prison is a maximum security rest, for others it is a hellish place to serve their sentences. It is in such a place, in city prison Düsseldorf, artist Markus Linnenbrink brought to life a shocking and incredibly strange art project intended for "inmates" and their visitors. The prison, which has experienced the full power of the talent and creativity of this artist, is called Justiz Vollzugs Anstalt and is a correctional institution of a new type and modern design. Its concept is that it is necessary to strive to create the most humane conditions of detention of people in custody, the most acceptable for prisoners. Without further ado, Markus Linnenbrink painted two inner underground corridors with bright multicolored stripes, which connect the security posts of one of the prison buildings.
It only seems that the artist approached the work in a slipshod manner. In fact, the lines are arranged so that the corridor appears brighter and wider when lit. And the drawing seems to be three-dimensional, which adds extreme to those who happened to walk along this corridor. It is expected that such an interior will have a positive effect on the prisoners, and the prison staff will not be so gloomy and depressing to work in this building. But sometimes it seems that such a bright color attack serves only as an additional punishment for criminals. The answers to all the questions can probably be found on the personal site of Markus Linnenbrink.

What punishment was suffered by the kindest overseer of concentration camps, Gertha Elert
Despite the fact that the fascist ideology did not plan to let the woman go beyond the triangle “children, kitchen, church”, there were still exceptions. History remembers the names of concentration camp guards, who not only were not inferior to men, but sometimes surpassed them in cruelty and sophistication. Herta Ehlert called herself too soft, but unlike her prisoners, she lived a long and prosperous life, despite the fact that she was brought to trial for helping the Nazis
