Their family was the personification of the law of the attraction of opposites. Emotional, vulnerable, thin Igor Kvasha and calm, restrained, judicious Tatyana Putievskaya have lived together for 55 happy years. Together they overcame any difficulties, but could not win, as they themselves admitted, only Igor Vladimirovich's craving for smoking.
Crimean romance
In the hot summer of 1956, Galina Volchek starred in the film "Don Quixote" and asked Igor Kvasha to accompany her to the filming location in Koktebel. For a long time, there was such a close relationship between them that it was difficult to distinguish them from relatives. And they themselves considered themselves practically brother and sister.
Galina Volchek dreamed of marrying her named brother as soon as possible, so she often acted as his matchmaker, arranging an acquaintance with her friends. So in Koktebel, she once again hoped to arrange his life. Igor was not familiar with her plans, he was frankly bored. Galina was able to interest him only by promising a quick meeting with a very good girl.
When Tatyana Putievskaya with her mother and stepfather arrived in Koktebel, Igor Kvasha immediately understood: this girl was really worth waiting for. She conquered him at first sight. Even not so much beauty (although this could not be taken away from her), as the kinship of the soul.
The relationship developed so quickly that both of them did not even remember their own obligations to other people. Igor Kvasha has not yet been officially divorced from his first wife, although they broke up several years ago. A potential groom was waiting for Tatyana in Moscow.
Declarations of love from Simferopol to Moscow
Unexpectedly, this impetuous romance was interrupted by Igor's urgent departure to Moscow. Soon Tatyana and her family also left for the capital. At the very first stop, their trains in the compartment brought a telegram to Tanya from Igor, where he confessed his love to her. At the next station there was another telegram, then another, another, and another. Each train stop was accompanied by a new message from Igor. One telegram contained a joke about a hedgehog that only Igor and Tatiana could understand. The affectionate nickname the Hedgehog was firmly entrenched in her for life.
He met her at the Moscow railway station with flowers, and at the metro station "Revolution Square" Igor proposed to his Tatyana. She agreed, not doubting for a moment in the correctness of her decision. Tatyana knew for sure - this is her fate.
The first wedding was fun and hospitable, but unofficial, because Igor did not manage to file a divorce. But the official ceremony took place when Tatyana's pregnancy was already very noticeable.
Igor Kvasha with Oleg Efremov ran to the registry office during a break between rehearsals. Two magnificent actors charmed the strict lady-clerk, persuading her to quickly put stamps in passports and let them go. But then Tatyana Putievskaya suddenly grumbled. She flatly refused to take her husband's surname due to the fact that her future patients (and she graduated from medicine) would not understand whether they were going to see a man or a woman. However, Igor Vladimirovich did not insist. They were just happy.
The art of loving
In 1957, Igor and Tatiana had a son, Vladimir. He was the first child at the Sovremennik Theater. Igor Kvasha's mom quit her job to help a young family with her son. Tatiana worked after graduation in an ambulance, and dad, of course, disappeared in his Sovremennik, which was just at that time going through a period of formation.
It's amazing how two completely different people were able to achieve complete mutual understanding and harmony in their life together. When Igor Vladimirovich was worried whether the party censorship would miss the performance, Tatyana Semyonovna reassured him, but she herself was no less worried. Everything that seemed important to her husband was important to her. At the same time, outwardly Tatyana Semyonovna looked completely calm. And only she herself could tell how her heart contracts with excitement. Each of the spouses was passionate about their own business: he - the theater, she - medicine. And they rejoiced at the success of each together.
Disagreements in the family due to everyday problems were completely absent. Tatyana Semyonovna never demanded help from her husband with the housework. But he himself sometimes repairs the faucet with inspiration or repairs the switch. It was usually not enough for more. He affectionately, as in his youth, called her the Hedgehog and could not live a day without seeing his Tatyana.
They did not have one point of view only on Igor Vladimirovich's smoking. Tatyana Semyonovna, when her husband was diagnosed with obstructive pulmonary disease, helped him fight the disease: she found specialized doctors, monitored the timely intake of medications. And even blackmailed. She promised to take his last name as soon as he quit smoking. Igor Vladimirovich tried honestly. But the slightest excitement, another premiere - and the hand itself reaches for a cigarette. So she remained Putievskaya.
Together in health and in illness
With age, the couple began to get sick often. Tatyana Semyonovna started having problems with her spine. And together they flew to Israel to perform the operation on Tatyana in the best clinic. And on her return, when it was hard for her to go to work, Igor Vladimirovich made an agreement with a taxi driver who drove her every day. Tatyana Semyonovna tried to refuse, saying that a taxi costs much more than her salary. But who else but Igor Kvasha, selflessly devoted to the profession, did not know how important it is for a person to be in demand.
He himself, panting after the slightest exertion, did not leave work. He simply could not live without her. Sometimes he used four inhalers per performance, but he went on stage again and again. It was a little easier during the filming of the program "Wait for Me", where he sat more in the chair of the presenter.
In August 2012, Igor Vladimirovich was admitted to the hospital due to an exacerbation of the disease. It was getting harder and harder for him to breathe. And on August 30, he left this world forever. After his death, Tatyana Semyonovna practically stopped walking. She was sorting out her husband's papers and dreamed only about him dreaming about him. It was difficult for her to come to terms with a reality in which he is not.
Igor Kvasha and Tatyana Putievskaya knew for sure that the secret of their happiness lies in the community of interests, the difference in hobbies and great love. Alexander Shirvindt, who has lived with his wife for almost 60 years, has his own family secret.
