Quote - “The purpose of a digital artwork is different from natural painting. Digital paintings are not created to be embodied in a frame on a wall or in a paper album. They are created in order to be replicated in a mass product - book cover, logo, website decoration, product box …"
Quote - "I believe that the phrase" computer painting "was artificially invented by the computer" painters "themselves … In fact, the word" painting "cannot be applied to their works …"
Help from Wikipedia: "Digital Painting - Creating a drawing / painting from start to finish on a computer is a relatively new direction in the visual arts. A computer in digital painting is the same tool as a brush with an easel. To paint well on computer also needs to know and be able to apply all the knowledge and experience accumulated by generations of artists (perspective, aerial perspective, color wheel, glare, reflexes, etc.)."
A very interesting topic! Drawing on the screen (digital on-screen graphic, paint on screen) is becoming more and more popular, going beyond the professional environment, a significant part of the world's population is passionate about this occupation. Why do people draw with a computer? Those who are engaged in this by occupation, it is clear with them, they earn a living. So the rest have a different interest. Which one then? Curiosity is just an impetus to action. There must be a goal. Not everyone finds it and understands it, but it exists. The desire to create, the desire to realize the creative potential, where is it from, and what to do with it? Learn to draw? Lots of problems and costs. With the advent of the computer, unique tools and opportunities have appeared in our everyday life. We have lost the habit of writing "with a pen" on paper, making family albums with photographs, buying books and much more is gradually disappearing from our everyday life. The entire information environment is going digital. This is progress, and you can't argue with it. The computer, as a means of drawing, has given us the greatest resources. Anyone can draw. There are not many basic skills here. The question is: who, how and what will happen? And so, if the result is something new, useful and meaningful not only for ourselves, our assessment changes, we see the product of our own creativity in a different quality, we begin to look for practical application. Materialization is one of the principles of our world. The transition of energy into matter and vice versa, a constant transformation of everything. Exercise is a movement from the past to the future. Thought, idea, spirit, something elusive, the subtlest matter that exists in the past, offers us an option that we "see" in the future and are trying to materialize. Therefore, everything that we see around us is conditioned by the past, this is the law of our world. The cycle: matter - spirit - matter is the creation of the new (YANG), the cycle: spirit - matter - spirit is the destruction of the old (YIN) and the force inherent in this simple law is enormous and inexhaustible! Everything is quite simple, however, it depends on each of us how we use this power. And, comparing painting and computer graphics can only be in general terms - the possibilities to create an image, you cannot go further, they are completely different and their practical application is also different. I do not like the term "digital painting", for myself I use the word "virtual art". "Digital art" and "living art" - a similar topic was hotly discussed about a hundred years ago in relation to painting and photography.

Vladimir Dal received a university medical education and during the war with the Poles was a resident at the St. Petersburg military ground hospital. But most of all he was interested in ethnography. Anime, video games, and fashion are pretty much ingrained in our culture over the past few years. Regardless of whether they influence us positively or negatively, art could not bypass these topics, especially digital-art, which could be placed fourth in the list of things that are rooted in our culture. These things are the main themes for the Frenchman Florent Auguy - another interesting creator in the digital art field
