They say that paper will endure everything - and it does it, easily turning into openwork collages, black moths and multi-colored sculptures. Not to mention the variety of two-dimensional creativity that illustrators and painters cover it, showing us their inner world. Another material, albeit not so obedient, but open to experimentation, is ceramics. If it falls into good hands, it will become not only painted plates, but also an unusual art project, like the one that was invented in Little owl design and named Altered Perspectives … "Changed perspectives", as the name of the project sounds in translation into Russian, is a very unusual approach to traditional, classical painting. In fact, these are just paintings - ordinary landscapes, portraits, still lifes. If they were drawn on plain paper, it would not have caused such a strong public reaction. And so the pictures from the fragments, which are painted on painted ceramic plates, attract the attention of curious people, eager for sensations and resonant events in the world.
Altered Perspectives by Little Owl Design combine traditional classical art with the mixed media genre, and therefore sits somewhere between installation and painting. The changed perspective here is formed due to the fact that parts of the picture are applied to the volumetric surfaces of plates of different sizes and shapes, therefore, when they combine into one whole pieces of a landscape or portrait, they somewhat change its original shape. And the authors of the project left a small amount of fragments - some parts of the paintings were irretrievably lost. However, Altered Perspectives are not jigsaw puzzles, where every piece will certainly find a pair, but a standard painting in an unconventional design, therefore, everything is possible in this art project!
But the main highlight of the art project is that each painting is made up of pieces that belong to different works. Likewise, the plates, which have become canvas, belong to different services, and they differ not only in color and decor, but also in style, as well as belonging to a particular era. This and other projects of the studio Little Owl Design, whose name hides the artists Bruce Wayland and Marcello DeSimone, can be found on their website.

Little known facts about digital painting that prove this genre is high art
Digital painting is a fine line of opposites, combining a bright splash of colors with high technology. This is an amazing world of art, where each picture created is so multifaceted that it is sometimes difficult to understand and appreciate it. Someone prefers a mixed style, while someone from scratch uses exclusively a tablet for drawing and a dozen suitable programs for processing. But one way or another, this art is quite popular in everything
What energy looks like. Energy Beings art project, digital painting by Kouji Oshiro Kochi
People talk a lot about energy - good and bad, positive and negative, energy of terrestrial and extraterrestrial origin and other joys of the unknown. And since it is unknown, it is also unseen, no one can say with certainty what exactly the energy of a person looks like, and in what form it is present "somewhere out there." Peruvian illustrator Kouji Oshiro Kochi tried to imagine this by looking into the depths of his subconscious and armed with a fair amount of imagination. His

Owl cafes have become a real mainstream in Japan: dozens of establishments and thousands of those wishing to drop in for a cup of coffee to wise owls

Little daughter in the animal world. Art project Amelia's world by Robin Schwartz
People who believe that children are afraid of many things, do not understand even more, shun, do not take it seriously, in fact, are completely unfamiliar with the peculiarities of the child's psyche. By default, kids love this world, and they are sure that it reciprocates them, therefore it would not even occur to them to run away at the sight of a giraffe, a monkey, a camel and even a tiger. The artist Robin Schwartz was convinced of this when photographing her little daughter Amelia for the Amelia’s world project
