More than 200 people visited one of the New York stores. There they made all the customers and employees of the establishment wonder, scared and laugh. At first, the mobbers reduced the speed of their movements several times, after which the rhythm of their life stopped for several minutes. Slow time reigned at Home Depot.

The flash mob was organized by "Improv Everywhere". This group was founded by Charlie Todd. We have already written about how he "stopped" time at one of the largest railway stations in New York. This time, Charlie wanted to create a slow motion effect.

225 participants of the flash mob met in Madison Square Park. They all synchronized their time on their watches. Then the mobbers went to the "Home Depot" store, where the action took place. To prevent the flash mob from interfering with the work of the store, the participants scattered throughout the facility, but were far from the ticket offices and escalators.

At exactly 4:15 am, the mobbers began to move at a slow pace. Within 5 minutes, they continued to select products, but they did it 5 times slower than usual. At first it was difficult to distinguish them from regular customers. But the store employees drew attention to them. Watching what was happening, they began to believe in slowed down time. At 4:20 am, the mobbers, as if nothing had happened, returned to their previous pace of life. It did not last long. At 4:25 am, life in the store came to a standstill along with two hundred frozen mobbers. The guards and ordinary people did not understand what was the matter.
