Of which parts consists fairy tale? It turns out that the answer to this question can be formulated strictly mathematically - for this you just need to compose a fabulous equation with pictures instead of variables. Such a witty move was used in its advertising by the company Brain candy toysspecializing in educational toys.
The Bedford store in Nova Scotia, Canada sells intelligence toys, games and puzzles for children. To boost sales, store and company Brain candy toys ordered an advertisement for an agency Revolve … The creators of this agency tried to imagine how such an intellectually oriented company would tell a nursery rhyme or a fairy tale - and this is what they did.
This advertisement looks like a rebus - even the smallest ones will easily understand what kind of fairy tale is being discussed in the system of equations of three pigs, their houses and a wolf. A little-known verse in our country about three blind mice, which the hostess chopped off their tails with a sharp knife (you could see these mice in the cartoon about Shrek) is also very easy to decipher. The story of Cinderella is quite recognizable - everything parts of a fairy tale, from a crystal shoe to a happy Cinderella in a wedding dress, in their places. And the inequality with Humpty Dumpty, subtracted from the wall, which the sum of rati and cavalry in the "King" degree cannot collect in any way - this is not even a high school program. As you can see, fairy tale and mathematics do not contradict each other (remember at least Lewis Carroll).
"The advertising campaign reflects the mission Brain candy toys - make our children think ", - they say in the agency Revolve. By the way, fairy tales really make you think about a lot: even if children never become mathematicians or engineers, and, for example, get carried away with the humanities, they will learn that fairy tales really consist of important parts - motives. This means that advertising with equations from parts of fairy tales - quite scientific.
