Paper architecture is the art of making paper models from a single sheet of paper that is cut and folded in a wide variety of ways. Most often, three-dimensional installations of architectural objects, geometric patterns and various everyday objects are developed.
The Dutch woman Ingrid Siliakus is well known all over the world for her ornate works, which are true architectural masterpieces. Of the buildings, Ingrid prefers the creations of Gaudí and Burlage. Indeed, an artist must have the skills of an architect and the endurance of a surgeon to sculpt unrivaled three-dimensional worlds from a single sheet of paper.
