How many people, so many habits. Some, for example, say hello, shaking hands, others hug and kiss on the cheeks, others confine themselves to a short official greeting, or even just wave their hand from afar. Austrian artist Valentin Ruhry greets large-scale, original, to the whole world. And his conceptual light installation " Hello, world!", presented in New York at the Austrian Cultural Forum, only confirms this idea. The installation of Master Valentine is as simple as it is brilliant, and most importantly, the implementation of such a canvas does not require large investments and is available to everyone. For example, 5000 ordinary orange switches, what can be seen on power filters and extension cords, through the artist's efforts, turned into a huge panel, reminiscent of a light board at train stations and stadiums. Switches are pixels, and what can be made of pixels - we all know very well.
So, turning these orange "pixels" on and off, you can write and draw on the light table, in general, have fun as you want. This installation works from the mains and can be installed anywhere, if there is electricity. For example, in the lower grades of secondary school, in kindergarten, or even in an apartment where there is a children's corner - in general, where it will come in handy. Other art projects of the artist can be found on his website.
