In fact, there is much more in common between light and water than it might seem at first glance. For example, both can spread in waves. This similarity was noticed by the members of the famous Spanish creative team Luzinterruptus. Their latest work, Drinking water running through the streets, is dedicated to Madrid's fountains.
The guys from Luzinterruptus are one of the main newsmakers of the site Kulturologia. Ru … Through the prism of a creative perception of the world, we watched Spanish politicians, global nuclear paranoia, green spaces on the streets of the Spanish capital and many other things that excite them. Now they turned their attention to the non-working fountains.
It turns out that over the past thirty years, more than half of all Madrid's public fountains and drinking water pump rooms have stopped working. Therefore, the members of Luzinterruptus decided to revive these abandoned facilities. And do it, of course, with the help of light.
“We wanted to draw attention to the fact that water is life. And the fountains, which are used for drinking and freshness, are much more necessary and beautiful than decorative, non-working ones,”- this is how Luzinterruptus explains the meaning of this work.
Luzinterruptus members used more than 200 glass bottles from vitamin-supplemented milk intended for babies to create the lighting installations Drinking water running through the streets. This should once again emphasize the vital need for water for people, like milk for babies.
In total, four Madrid fountains were “revived” by the participants of Luzinterruptus. Installations Drinking water running through the streets lasted only four hours, after which they were dismantled so that their components did not turn into banal city rubbish.

Unusual fountains hanging in the air
What people do not invent to amaze, surprise and leave each other in disbelief. One of the fashion trends is the creation of unusual fountains, which, at first glance, contradict not only all the laws of physics, but even common sense. These are fountains in the form of huge cranes that appear out of nowhere at a height of several meters above the ground. The water supply in them is truly endless, and the tap itself hangs in the air without visible support
